LaToshia Norwood is the founder and managing partner of L’Renee & Associates, a consultancy firm that delivers project management strategy, training, and consulting for industry-leading corporations and entities spanning transportation, technology, higher education, government agencies, non-profit, small business, and more. LaToshia holds an MBA from Texas Woman’s University, a Bachelor of Science in Education from Prairie View A&M University, and the PMP certification issued by the Project Management Institute.
Whether advising women CEOs on scaling, a government agency on reducing waste, or a client on project management processes and workflows, her superpowers are undoubtedly strategy and re-imagining processes. LaToshia’s contributions and thought leadership has been recognized through, Top 30 Influential Women of Houston, Patrice Johnson Award, Emerging 10 Award, Pinnacle Award Finalist, and Small Business Today Honoree.
As a fierce equity and access champion with a heart for women, LaToshia founded the She Said Foundation, a nonprofit organization that empowers minority/women business owners through leadership training/development, access to capital and resources, and cultivating confidence. Through the She Said Foundation, LaToshia has served and celebrated thousands of professional women, students, and entrepreneurs via 100+ workshops, annual conferences, a student mini-conference, and the Game Changers and Extraordinary Women Making History Awards. The actionable information and resources provided by the She Said Foundation helped one participant increase her revenue from $150K annually to $150K quarterly. Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee declared October 2nd as LaToshia Norwood Day in the 18th Congressional District, and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner declared October 5th as She Said. She Led. She is. Day to cement the organization's impact.
LaToshia recently served as President of the Project Management Institute, Houston Chapter, the oldest and fourth largest chapter in the world. She serves as a board advisor for Diversity Fund Houston, a micro-venture fund for minority tech founders.
